Video Production Pricing in West Palm Beach, FL

How much does it cost to produce a video?

We get many inquiries relating to pricing and the cost of producing a video, such as: “I need a two minute video. How much is it?” Digital Motion Studios would love to provide a simple, straight-forward answer to general pricing inquiries, but it’s just not possible. There are a lot of factors that go into producing a video. A two-minute video could cost way less than a 30-second video; it all boils down to logistics. What will it take to get all of the content we need to produce a video that will meet our clients’ expectations?

Here are some possible scenarios: (1) A 30-second video or TV commercial could consist of writing the script, going to a location for a couple of hours, filming the client’s talking, and show some B-roll footage to support the message we are trying to convey. (2) In another video, we may need to visit three locations, with only one per day and the locations are in separate cities. This commercial calls for a professional voice over, background music and some pretty extensive graphics work. Can you see where this is going? Providing a straight answer on the cost of a video, with very little information on the vision of the client, is nearly impossible. Sure we can give a price range of $500 to $5,000—but will that really help? The same is true for long-format video production. You can have a five-minute talking person with simple graphics, or the same five-minute video shooting over the course of three weeks with B-roll footage, interviews and so on.

The best thing to do is fill out the “Get a Quote” form on our website with your basic information, and we will send you an email with some simple questions. Based on your answers, we may have a few follow-up questions, but it won’t take long and we can provide close-range pricing. We don’t even need to talk or make an appointment, so there’s no sales pressure. We get the answers you need to decide if your vision encompasses a commercial, corporate video, training video, or other website-based video, and we provide you with the cost of the project.

Here are a few answers we need to figure out your vision:

How long will the video be?

Can I film everything I need in one location?

Can I do it all in the same day? Will it take 1 hour, 2 hours, 8 hours, etc.?

Do we need to hire talent?

does the video need voice over?

Will it include simple graphics or custom graphics?

What kind and how much equipment will I need to bring?

How large of a crew will I need?
